Sammamish is a city on a plateau east of Lake Sammamish, about 20 miles from Seattle. The plateau was part of unincorporated King County for most of its recorded history, and the city incorporated in 1999. Its population grew 47.3% between the 2010 and 2020 censuses. Skip the donation drop-off in Sammamish, WA

In July 2025, Republic Services ran temporary drop-off events during a work stoppage, and the city asked residents to bag their materials. Bulky items such as mattresses, toilets and appliances were not accepted at those sites.

On Zelbi, you photograph the item and the app drafts the listing. The claimer comes at the day and time you set, and giving costs nothing.

Free furniture pickup in Sammamish, WA

The plateau lies between Lake Sammamish to the west and the Snoqualmie Valley to the east. Once a dresser or bed frame is claimed, you decide whether to meet the claimer in person or leave it outside for them.

With the item set out at the curb, the giver picks the time, and the claimer confirms it in the app.

Free stuff near you in Sammamish, WA

For anyone hunting "free stuff sammamish" or "free furniture sammamish", the plateau has its own supply. On Zelbi's map, each listing shows a neighborhood area, never an exact address.

Beaver Lake and Pine Lake are the city's largest lakes, and Pine Lake Park and Beaver Lake Park are among its parks. Yellow Lake sits inside Klahanie, and the East Lake Sammamish Trail, completed in 2023 on a disused railway, follows the lake's east side.

Items on Zelbi are free. The only charge is a $2 platform fee, paid by the person who claims an item; giving something away costs nothing.

A simpler alternative to Craigslist free, Freecycle, Buy Nothing and Trash Nothing

Sammamish already has ways to pass things on. A free group for the city counts thousands of members, King County's reuse guide encourages residents to donate or sell what they no longer need, and Craigslist's Seattle area page lists an eastside subarea. Zelbi adds a $2 fee on each claim, and a claimer who cancels inside two hours still owes it.

One photo to list

Zelbi writes the listing from your picture, so an old dresser needs no typing.

Accounts behind claims

Each claim ties to a Zelbi account and an authorized payment, and your address is shared only with the claimer.

Pickup on your time

You choose the day and time in the app, and the claimer completes pickup by photographing the item.

Zelbi is an independent app. It is not affiliated with Craigslist, The Freecycle Network, the Buy Nothing Project or Trash Nothing. Their names belong to their owners.
